Asıl neden: parmaklarınızın alışkanlığı
Latin alfabesiyle yazılan birçok dil, ünsüz ve ünlüyü düzenli bir ritimle sırayla kullanır; parmaklar ünsüz ile ünlü arasında düzenli gidip gelir. İngilizcede bu ritim yok. Ünsüzler aralarına ünlü girmeden üst üste yığılır ve kelimeler çoğu zaman ünsüzle biter. Bu yüzden kendi dilinizde kazandığınız parmak alışkanlıkları buraya taşınmıyor.
